Fibe reports Rs 1,585 Cr revenue in FY26; profit more than doubles

The digital lending platform Fibe recently filed its DRHP with SEBI to raiseRs 750 crorethrough a fresh issue in its IPO. Ahead of the public listing, the company reported a 31% year-on-year increase in operating revenue to Rs 1,601 crore for the fiscal year ended March 2026, while its net profit more than doubled to Rs 257 crore. Fibe’s revenue from operations grew to Rs 1,585 crore in FY26 from Rs 1,209 crore in FY25, according to its DRHP filed with the SEBI. Co-founded in 2015 by Akshay Mehrotra and Ashish Goyal, Fibe is a digital lending platform that offers personal loans, long-term loans, loans against mutual funds, and fixed deposits across healthcare, education, and solar rooftop installations. The company claims to have facilitated over 9.8 million loans, with cumulative disbursements exceeding Rs 48,000 crore. Interest on loans remained Fibe's largest revenue source, contributing nearly 65% of its operating revenue. Income from this segment grew more than 33% year-on-year to Rs 1,023 crore in FY26, while fee and commission income stood at Rs 393.5 crore. ncome from guarantee premiums, earned for providing default protection to lending partners, grew 40% year-on-year to Rs 146 crore in FY26. The remaining operating revenue came from marketing income and other sources. Fibe also earned around Rs 17 crore from non-operating sources such as interest income and gains on the sale of current investments, and this took its total income to Rs 1,601 crore in the last fiscal year. For the consumer lending company, impairment on financial instruments stood at Rs 420 crore in FY26. Notably, this included Rs 203 crore in loan write offs and Rs 135 crore in losses on guarantees settled. Finance cost grew over 48% to Rs 288 crore. Employee benefit expenses, which accounted for more than 12% of Fibe's total expenditure, increased 33% year-on-year to Rs 148 crore in FY26, including Rs 8.4 crore in ESOP costs. Advertising and promotional expenses, another major cost head, stood at Rs 133 crore during the fiscal year. Commission paid to selling agents, legal and professional fees, travel expenses, and other overheads pushed Fibe's total expenditure to Rs 1,215 crore in FY26, up from Rs 1,068 crore in the previous fiscal. The Pune-based firm more than doubled its net profit to Rs 257 crore in FY26 from Rs 114 crore in the previous fiscal, as revenue growth outpaced the rise in expenses. On a unit basis, Fibe spent Rs 0.77 to earn every rupee of operating revenue. As of March 31, 2026, the company had current assets of Rs 4,837 crore, including cash and bank balances of Rs 490 crore.
