Noida-based preventive pain-management and wellness startup Heatronics has raised Rs 1.8 crore in a seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). The round also saw participation from angel investors Nitin Agarwal, former executive at GlobalBees, and Shivam Mishra of String Ventures. The fresh capital will be used to strengthen marketing and branding initiatives, upgrade manufacturing facilities, and expand its distribution network. Founded in 2022 by Hargun Singh Chawla, Heatronics develops medical-grade heat therapy and recovery devices under its hCore brand. The firm offers a portfolio of 10 heat-therapy products designed for pain relief and recovery. According to Heatronics, the products were developed based on feedback from over 500 customers and feature temperature-control technology along with automatic shut-off functionality. Heatronics operates a 12,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Noida and employs more than 40 people. The startup sells through channels including Amazon, Blinkit, its own website, and offline retail outlets. The company claims to hold ISO 13485, CDSCO Class B, and BIS certifications. It also says it manufactures its products domestically through a vertically integrated supply chain. Heatronics reported more than 100% year-on-year growth and said its monthly revenue has increased nearly fourfold ahead of the peak demand season.
