Optimo Capital, an MSME-focused non-banking financial company (NBFC), reported more than fivefold growth in revenue during its second year of operations. The company also improved its profitability while expanding its lending footprint across Tier-II and Tier-III markets. The Bengaluru-based company’s revenue from operations increased over 5X to Rs 68.5 crore in FY26 from Rs 13.1 crore in the previous fiscal year, while total income rose to Rs 70.5 crore from Rs 14.3 crore, according to the company’s release. Optimo’s profit after tax (PAT) also surged 4.8Xto Rs 10.5 crore in FY26 from Rs 2.2 crore a year earlier. According to the company, it also witnessed strong growth in its lending business. Its assets under management (AUM) expanded 179% to Rs 441 crore at the end of FY26, compared to Rs 158 crore in FY25, while loan disbursements increased 155% to Rs 401 crore during the year. Founded in 2024 by EaseMyTrip co-founder Prashant Pitti, Optimo Capital is an NBFC focused exclusively on Loan Against Property (LAP) and Micro-LAP lending for MSMEs in Tier-II and Tier-III cities. As per the company, it served 3,277 active borrowers during FY26, from around 1,200 a year earlier. Its branch network also expanded to 49 locations across Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh, while employee strength reached 580. Backed by Blume Ventures and Omnivore Partners, Optimo hasraisedRs 228 crore in equity funding to date, including Rs 73 crore personally invested by founder Prashant Pitti.
