Yashish Dahiya and Alok Bansal, co-founders of PB Fintech, parent company of PolicyBazaar, have collectively offloaded shares worth around Rs 665 crore ($70 million) in the company through a block deal on Friday. According to the exchange date, the transaction saw Dahiya and Bansal collectively offloaded 38 lakh shares at Rs 1,751 per share, amounting to a total deal size of around Rs 665 crore. Dahiya sold 26 lakh shares worth Rs 455.26 crore, while Bansal divested 12 lakh shares (Rs 210.12 crore), representing a combined stake of nearly 0.8% in the Gurugram-based insurance and lending marketplace operator. Several institutional investors participated in the block deal. Among the prominent buyers were Tata Mutual Fund, Morgan Stanley, Societe Generale, National Pension System Trust, Kotak Mahindra Asset Management, Goldman Sachs, and the Los Angeles City Employees’ Retirement System and others. As of March 31, 2026, Yashish Dahiya held a 3.86% stake in PB Fintech, while Alok Bansal owned a 1.16% stake in the company. Earlier this month, Tencent, one of PB Fintech’s early investors, offloaded a 1.05% stake in the company through a block deal worthRs 805.45 crore(around $85 million). On the financial front, PB Fintech reported a 37% year-on-year rise in operating revenue toRs 2,061 crorein Q4 FY26, while its profit increased 54% to Rs 261 crore during the quarter. Shares of PB Fintech closed at Rs 1,716 on the NSE on Friday, giving the company a market capitalization of over Rs 79,398 crore ($8.35 billion).
