Conversational fintech app jUMPP has received regulatory approval from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) to distribute insurance products through its platform. The development marks jUMPP’s entry into the insurance space as the company takes its next step towards building a more integrated financial services ecosystem. With insurance now being added to the platform roadmap, the company aims to gradually expand beyond investments into a broader financial experience spanning wealth creation, protection, and lending. Launched in 2025 by Sarvjeet Singh Virk, jUMPP is an AI driven platform that enables users to manage their financial needs seamlessly, from banking, savings, and payments to investments and borrowing, through a unified app interface. jUMPP aims to address the financial needs of users in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities by fostering financial literacy and wealth creation through intuitive and accessible tools. The company has partnered with YES Bank for banking and BBPS solutions and also holds a TPAP licence from National Payments Corporation of India. Using the account aggregator framework, the application consolidates all user linked accounts into a single unified view. It identifies spending patterns and offers hyper personalised financial guidance in vernacular languages to help users make informed decisions. Whether it is wealth management, expense tracking, or accessing unbiased insights, the app serves as a comprehensive financial assistant. jUMPP plans to introduce insurance offerings across categories such as health, life, motor, business, and home insurance through partnerships with leading insurers.
