Kissht clocks Rs 670 Cr revenue and Rs 95 Cr profit in Q1 FY27

Digital lending platform Kissht reported its first quarterly results for the fiscal year ending March 2027. The company's operating revenue grew 45% year-on-year in the quarter, while its profit increased 58% to Rs 95 crore. Kissht’s revenue from operations increased to Rs 670 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 463 crore in Q1 FY26, according to its consolidated financial statement sourced from NSE. Founded in 2015 by Ranvir Singh and Krishnan Vishwanathan, provides small-ticket consumer loans and has scaled aggressively through partnerships with merchants across electronics, fashion, travel, and other categories. The company primarily earns interest income from these loans, although a detailed revenue breakup for the quarter was not disclosed. The company also earned Rs 7 crore from non operating sources, raising its total revenue to Rs 677 crore. Kissht continued to expand its lending business during the quarter, with its assets under management (AUM) growing 61% year-on-year and 13% sequentially to Rs 8,001 crore. The company has cumulatively served over 12.25 million customers, a 26% increase from a year ago. Its off-book AUM stood at Rs 4,284 crore, accounting for 53.6% of the total portfolio, reflecting its capital-light partnership model. Impairment on financial instruments remained one of the largest expense heads for the fintech platform, accounting for over 23% of the total cost base. The expense grew 28% year on year to Rs 128 crore in Q1 FY27, while finance costs increased 39% to Rs 82 crore. Employee benefit expenses stood at Rs 71 crore, while spending on marketing, legal and professional services, and IT expenses drove the company's total expenditure up 42% year on year to Rs 549 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 386 crore in the same quarter last year. In the end, strong revenue growth helped the Mumbai-based company post a 58% year-on-year increase in profit to Rs 95 crore in Q1 FY27. On a sequential basis, profit rose 16% from Rs 82 crore in the preceding quarter (Q4 FY26). At the close of trading on Wednesday, Kissht's shares were priced at Rs 343.45, giving the company a market capitalization of Rs 5,796 crore ($610 million).
