Alternative investment firm Anicut Capital has launched a Rs 250 crore seed fund to invest in around 20 early-stage startups over the next three years. The fund will focus on seed and pre-Series A companies across sectors, excluding real estate. The firm plans to invest up to $1 million in each startup and will follow up with additional capital through its growth equity platform as portfolio companies scale.
