Temasek continues reducing stake in PB Fintech, sells shares worth Rs 1,633 Cr

Temasek-backed Macritchie Investments Pte Ltd has continued to reduce its stake in PB Fintech, the parent company of Policybazaar, by offloading shares worth Rs 1,633 crore through a bulk deal. The transaction marks its second stake sale in the company in less than two months. According to the bulk deal data on the NSE, Macritchie Investments sold 1.01 crore shares at a price of Rs 1,604.12 per share, representing around 2.2% stake in PB Fintech. The transaction was valued at approximately Rs 1,633 crore. Prior to the transaction, Temasek, through Macritchie Investments, held a 6.47% stake in PB Fintech. The latest sale follows itsRs 805 croreblock deal in May, when it offloaded a 1.05% stake in the company, further reducing its shareholding. In May, PB Fintech co-founders Yashish Dahiya and Alok Bansal also collectively sold shares worth aroundRs 665 crore(approximately $70 million) in the company through a block deal. On the financial front, PB Fintech reported a 37% year-on-year rise in operating revenue toRs 2,061 crorein Q4 FY26, while its profit increased 54% to Rs 261 crore during the quarter. Following the transaction, shares of PB Fintech declined 5.71% to Rs 1,586 on Friday, taking the company's market capitalization to around Rs 73,383 crore.
