B2B industrial commerce and deeptech platform Moglix has appointed Amit Kumar as managing director and chief business officer. Kumar joins Moglix’s central leadership team with a mandate to build and scale the company’s emerging business segments and new opportunity areas. He brings over two decades of experience in business leadership, management consulting, and enterprise transformation. Most recently, Kumar served as group CEO and executive director at Symphony, where he led the company’s overall P&L growth, supply chain restructuring, and large-scale digital adoption across the organisation over nearly five years. Before Symphony, Kumar held senior roles at KPMG India, EY, and PwC across sectors such as consumer durables, automotive, chemicals, steel, FMCG, and diversified industrials. He advised enterprises on operations improvement, procurement, manufacturing, and business transformation. This is the second major leadership appointment for Moglix in 2026. In March, the companyappointedAnimesh Srivastava as chief technology officer (CTO). Founded in 2015 by Rahul Garg, Moglix operates an online platform for industrial and business supplies, including electrical equipment, power tools, motors, and medical products. The company has raised around $440 million to date. In 2021, it secured $120 million in a Series E funding round co-led by Falcon Edge Capital and Harvard Management Company (HMC).
