KKR-backed supply chain solutions firm Leap India has raised Rs 371.3 crore in a pre-IPO placement from Singapore-based sovereign wealth fund GIC's subsidiary Gamnat Pte Ltd, hedge fund Dymon Asia Multi-Strategy Investment (Singapore), and promoter Sunu Mathew, a day before its public issue opens. According to a public advertisement published by the company, Leap India allotted 2.33 crore equity shares at Rs 159 apiece. Gamnat Pte Ltd emerged as the largest investor in the round, investing Rs 280 crore for 1.76 crore shares. Dymon Asia Multi-Strategy Investment invested Rs 50 crore, while Matyas Possessiones Private Limited, in which promoter Sunu Mathew owns a 99% stake, infused Rs 23 crore. Leap India had filed its red herring prospectus (RHP) last week for aRs 2,480 croreinitial public offering, comprising a fresh issue of Rs 480 crore and an offer for sale of Rs 2,000 crore by existing shareholders. The issue is scheduled to open on August 7 and close on August 11. The fresh capital will be used to repay borrowings, fund capital expenditure for the purchase of pallets, crates and intermediate bulk containers, and for general corporate purposes. Founded in 2013, Leap India operates an asset pooling platform that enables enterprises to rent reusable pallets, crates and containers instead of owning them. As of March 31, 2026, the company managed 14.7 million pooled assets across more than 10,100 customer touchpoints nationwide. For the fiscal year ended March 2026, Leap India reported 57% year-on-year growth in its operating revenue to Rs 730 crore from Rs 466 crore in FY25.
