Bengaluru-based health intelligence company Ultrahuman has raised $70 million from investors such as Qualcomm Ventures, Labcorp, Alpha Wave, Blume Ventures, Nexus Venture Partners, and Alteria. According to Ultrahuman, the new funding will be used to expand research and development across sensing, AI, miniaturised electronics, and health algorithms, while increasing investments in clinical science and large-scale research. The company said the funding marks the next phase of its evolution from a wearable health technology company to a human-computer interface company focused on the body. OpenAI has released GPT-6 Astra, its latest AI model, designed to handle computer use, software engineering, scientific research, cybersecurity and other professional tasks. The model can perform multi-step tasks on a user’s behalf, including searching for flights, comparing prices, filling out forms and drafting emails. Unlike earlier AI systems that mainly generated text or code, GPT-6 Astra can interact with websites, databases and software applications to complete tasks. It builds on advances in reinforcement learning, which helps AI models improve through practice and feedback. OpenAI says Astra can handle complex workflows across professional, software development and scientific tasks, potentially reducing repetitive administrative work. Adobe is preparing for its biggest leadership change in nearly two decades, with Anil Chakravarthy set to take over as president and CEO on December 1, 2026. Shantanu Narayen, who has led the company as CEO since 2007, will transition to the role of executive chair. The leadership change comes as Adobe looks to turn rapid advances in artificial intelligence into a new phase of growth across its creative software, document tools and digital customer experience businesses. Chakravarthy is an internal leader who has spent his career at Adobe focused on its enterprise business. He currently oversees customer experience orchestration and worldwide field operations. Adobe said he has helped expand the business through products including Adobe CX Enterprise, GenStudio and Brand Visibility, while also scaling the Adobe Experience Platform. Medulance has raised Rs 24 crore in a Series A-2 round from Auxano, Alkemi, Equentis, and other angel investors.
