Geospatial technology startup NeoGeo has raised $20 million in a Series A funding round led by Neev II Fund and Aavishkaar Capital, the investment arm of Aavishkaar Group. The company said in a press release that it will use the funds to expand its platform and product portfolio through investments in R&D and technical capabilities, enter international markets across the Middle East and the Americas, and strengthen its team to support its pipeline of projects. According to market research, India’s geospatial sector was valued at Rs 45,000 crore ($5.1 billion) in 2023 and is projected to grow at over 15% CAGR between 2025 and 2030. Founded in 2019 by Sreeramam GV, NeoGeo is a full-stack geospatial technology system integrator that provides GIS-referenced platforms and solutions across urban governance, infrastructure and utilities, and natural resource management. The company has executed over 200 projects, mapped more than 5 lakh sq km and manages over 550 CORS stations. It also operates AI/ML-based analytics platforms that help governments and enterprises convert spatial data into decision-ready intelligence. According to the Gurugram-based company, it operates across the geospatial value chain, from data acquisition using satellite imagery, LiDAR, drones and ground surveys to data processing, AI/ML-based analytics and industry-specific software platforms. Its proprietary platforms include OptiFleet, GeoBalance, UrbanVista and InfraSync. NeoGeo said its solutions are used for spatial planning and resource efficiency, as well as climate mitigation and resilience through hazard and vulnerability mapping. The Indian geospatial sector includes startups such as SatSure, Pixxel, GalaxEye, SkyServe and Heliware, which are developing capabilities across Earth observation, hyperspectral imaging, spatial intelligence and location-based analytics. Gurugram-based Heliware raised Rs 4.5 crore in a bridge round led by Inflection Point Ventures in February 2026. SatSure secured a Rs 24.6 crore grant from IN-SPACe in June 2026 to develop AI-powered Earth observation models and a sovereign geospatial intelligence backbone. Hyderabad-based TakeMe2Space also raised $5 million in January 2026 to expand its satellite constellation and real-time in-orbit AI capabilities.
