DocPharma raised $2 million in a pre-Series A round led by Equentis, with participation from existing investor 100Unicorns, Vinners and a consortium of strategic angel investors. The funds will build 100 new compliant and licensed dark stores as the company expands from over 12 to more than 50 cities. Founded in 2023 by Saquib Ali, Shashank Rai and Sagar Chauhan, DocPharma is a Bengaluru-based backend supply chain platform for healthcare businesses, offering licensed dark stores, AI-powered inventory management and prescription-compliant fulfilment infrastructure. The startup supports more than 30 healthcare and wellness platforms and has fulfilled over 800,000 orders with a fulfilment rate above 95%. Creedom raised INR 4.1 crore in a seed round at a valuation of INR 42 crore, led by Leigh Hopkins, Raghunandan G and Ninjacart co-founder and CEO Kartheeswaran KK. The round also saw participation from Raghu Nathan Sethuraman, Senthil Kumar T P and Govindaswamy Megavarnan through Startup Singam. The funds will support product development for Indian creators, expansion into the US and further development of its AI capabilities. Founded by Naveen Murugan, Naveen Sowriraj and Aswin Dhananjai, Creedom is an AI growth coach for content creators that connects to their Instagram and YouTube accounts to analyse performance and recommend what to post next. The startup has reached more than 1.5 lakh creators through its earlier learning platform and delivers insights through its AI companion, Cree. JioHotstar launched its streaming service in the UK, Canada and Singapore as part of its international expansion, offering more than 160,000 hours of entertainment across 12-plus Asian languages. The platform plans to add more than 30,000 hours of content annually and will also carry programming from JioStar television channels including Star Plus, Colors and Star Vijay. The service introduces quarterly and annual subscription plans in the three markets, along with interactive features for Bigg Boss, including live voting and a 24-hour live feed in Canada and the UK.
