Info Edge posts Rs 490 Cr profit on Rs 881 Cr revenue in Q1 FY27

Info Edge, the parent company of Naukri and 99acres, reported an over 11% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue in Q1 FY27. Its profit rose 43% year-on-year to Rs 490 crore during the quarter. According to its filing with the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Info Edge’s consolidated revenue rose to Rs 881 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 791 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal. Its recruitment solutions business, led by Naukri, remained the largest revenue contributor, with revenue rising 12% year-on-year to Rs 629 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 562 crore in Q1 FY26. Meanwhile, real estate platform 99acres reported revenue of Rs 130 crore in Q1 FY27, up from Rs 111 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal. The company’s matchmaking segment, which includes Jeevansathi and Aisle, contributed Rs 38 crore and Rs 12 crore, respectively, during the quarter. Meanwhile, Shiksha’s revenue declined 12% year-on-year to Rs 44 crore. The company added Rs 192 crore non operating income, which pushed its overall income to Rs 1,073 crore in Q1 FY27. On the expense side, employee benefit expenses remained the company’s largest cost component at Rs 341 crore in Q1 FY27, followed by advertisement expenses of Rs 119 crore. Overall expenses remained largely flat at Rs 580 crore during the quarter. Led by steady year-on-year growth in operating revenue, controlled costs, and healthy non-operating income, the company’s profit rose 43% year-on-year to Rs 490 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 343 crore in Q1 FY26. On a quarterly basis, the company’s profit declined 35% fromRs 756 crorein Q4 FY26, which was boosted by higher other income. As of 3:05 PM today, shares of Info Edge were trading at around Rs 1,272.5 taking the company’s market capitalization to around Rs 82,518 crore or $8.7 billion.
