Tata 1mg revenue nears Rs 3,000 Cr in FY26; loss narrows to Rs 287 Cr

Tata 1mg, the digital healthcare platform backed by Tata Digital, continued its growth momentum in FY26, with revenue nearing the Rs 3,000 crore mark while reducing its losses during the fiscal year ended March 2026. Tata 1mg’s consolidated revenue grew 23% to Rs 2,936 crore in FY26 fromRs 2,392 crore in FY25, according to Tata Sons’ annual report. Tata 1mg is a healthtech platform that enables users to order allopathic, ayurvedic, and homeopathic medicines, vitamins, nutrition supplements, and other healthcare products online. The platform also offers diagnostics and other healthcare services. The company’s revenue came from two entities: Tata 1mg Healthcare Solutions Private Limited, which contributed Rs 2,440 crore, and Tata 1mg Technologies Private Limited, which added Rs 496 crore. Together, the two entities generated Rs 2,936 crore in revenue during FY26. On the bottom line, Tata 1mg Healthcare Solutions reported a loss of Rs 310 crore, while Tata 1mg Technologies remained profitable with a net profit of Rs 23 crore. On a combined basis, Tata 1mg posted a net loss of Rs 287 crore in FY26. On the balance sheet, the combined Tata 1mg entities had total assets of Rs 2,268 crore at the end of FY26. Tata 1mg Healthcare Solutions accounted for Rs 805 crore, while Tata 1mg Technologies held assets worth Rs 1,463 crore. Their combined liabilities stood at Rs 1,601 crore, including Rs 1,509 crore for Tata 1mg Healthcare Solutions and Rs 92 crore for Tata 1mg Technologies. The combined entities reported a negative reserves and surplus balance of Rs 167 crore. While Tata 1mg Healthcare Solutions had a negative reserves and surplus balance of Rs 1,538 crore, Tata 1mg Technologies reported a positive reserves and surplus of Rs 1,371 crore. In the online healthcare space, Tata 1mg competes with Reliance-backed Netmeds, PharmEasy, and Apollo 24/7. Tata Digital acquired a majority stake in 1mg in June 2021 as part of its strategy to build a digital ecosystem spanning grocery, electronics, healthcare, financial services, and payments. At the group level, Tata Digital’s revenue grew 12% to Rs 35,990 crore in FY26 from Rs 32,188 crore in FY25. However, its net loss widened to Rs 4,974 crore from Rs 4,610 crore during the same period. The company’s gross merchandise value (GMV) stood at Rs 46,515 crore in FY26.
