Tiea Connectors raises Rs 77 Cr Series A led by IvyCap Ventures

Tiea Connectors, a manufacturer of interconnect and contact solutions, has raised Rs 77 crore ($8 million) in a Series A funding round led by IvyCap Ventures. The round also saw participation from Jamwant Ventures, 8X Ventures, and several HNI investors. The Bengaluru-based startup will use the funds to expand manufacturing infrastructure, strengthen R&D and product engineering, improve automation, and scale operations across sectors such as electric mobility, aerospace, defence, avionics, and industrial applications. Founded by Ajith Sasidharan and team, Tiea Connectors develops high-performance connectors, precision contacts, and connectivity solutions for mission-critical applications. The firm works with OEMs and manufacturers across sectors requiring high-reliability interconnection systems. Tiea focuses on product design, rapid prototyping, tooling, material engineering, miniaturisation, and precision manufacturing. Bareback Media has recently raised funding from a group of investors.
