Temasek-backed MacRitchie Investments has sold a 2.05% stake worth Rs 1,940 crore or $204 million in omnichannel eyewear retailer Lenskart Solutions through open market transactions. According to Lenskart's exchange filing dated July 14, The Singapore-based investor divested 3.56 crore equity shares on July 10, reducing its direct stake in the company to 2.21% from 4.26%. Despite the latest sale, Temasek continues to hold a 4.75% stake in Lenskart through MacRitchie Investments and its affiliated entities, Jongsong Investments and V-Sciences Investments, down from 6.80%. While the filing did not disclose the transaction value, the stake sale is estimated to be worth around Rs 1,940 crore, based on Lenskart's closing price of Rs 544 on July 10. Early investors have continued to monetize their holdings after Lenskart's listing. Last month,SoftBankexited a 3.25% stake for Rs 2,873 crore, whileADIA-backed Platinum Jasmine A 2018 Trustsold a 2.3% holding for Rs 1,960 crore, with both transactions attracting strong institutional demand. The company operates thousands of stores across India and international markets while also manufacturing eyewear products through its in-house facilities. During its latest quarterly results (Q4 FY26), the company posted 46% year-on-year growth in its revenue toRs 2,516 crorewith a profit of Rs 204 crore.As of 12:00 PM (today), Lenskart’s share is currently trading at around Rs 538.9, with a total market capitalization of Rs 93,639 crore ($9.85 billion).
