Three funding rounds closed on 26 August 2026, spanning AI agents for small businesses, voice AI and pet care. Susquehanna Venture Capital, Nexus Venture Partners, Peak XV Partners and TDV Partners led the day's rounds. The headline raise is Runable's $21 million Series A round to help small businesses automate customer acquisition and marketing. Away from funding, Flipkart Minutes overtook Swiggy Instamart in dark stores across India's top 10 cities, Honasa called off its INR 135 crore Fluence Pharma acquisition, and Pernia's Pop Up Shop parent set its IPO price band at INR 546 to INR 575. Runable raised $21 million in a Series A round co-led by Susquehanna Venture Capital and Nexus Venture Partners, with existing investors Together Fund and Array VC also participating. The funds will add more channels to its customer acquisition and marketing tools, deepen campaign measurement, and let its AI agent identify and fix campaign issues on its own. The startup will also scale Runable Academy, a free module teaching business owners how to build and grow their ventures, and plans to hire across engineering, machine learning, product, growth and support. Founded in 2025 by Umesh Kumar and Saksham Sarda, Runable operates an AI agent that helps small businesses build, manage and grow their operations, from websites and pitch decks to marketing videos and payment infrastructure. The startup claims to have gone from zero to $2 million in ARR within three weeks of launch and now has 1.5 million users, most of them small teams of around two people across the US, UK, Japan and Brazil. Ringg raised $10 million in an extended Series A round led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from Arkam Ventures and Capital 2b. The round takes the total size of its Series A to $15.5 million, following a $5.5 million tranche raised in January. The funds will strengthen Ringg's AI platform, expand its voice, WhatsApp and browser agents, and deepen investments in its proprietary AI models. Founded by Siddharth Tripathi, Utkarsh Shukla and Kali Charan Vemuru, Ringg builds AI voice agents for enterprises, having pivoted from an earlier text-to-speech venture called DesiVocal. The Bengaluru-based startup processes around 20 million call attempts every month and counts Flipkart, Practo, Groww and PolicyBazaar among its customers, with its voice agents deployed across 1,200 Practo clinics. Scooby's Club raised $250,000 in a pre-seed round led by TDV Partners. The funds will help the startup expand to two new properties across Bengaluru neighbourhoods over the next 6 to 12 months, along with hiring and training canine coaches. Founded in 2025 by XLRI Jamshedpur alumni Animeha Singh and Ankit Gupta, Scooby's Club runs a network of premium, fully indoor dog care hubs in residential neighbourhoods, using temperament testing to group dogs by size for safer socialisation.
