Private equity investor Actis continued its gradual exit from Pine Labs with the sale of around 2% stake worth Rs 371 crore through a bulk deal on the BSE on Wednesday. As per BSE bulk deal data, Actis Pine Labs Investment Holdings Limited offloaded 2.39 crore shares in Pine Labs at an average price of Rs 155.17 each, which translates into a deal worth Rs 371 crore. Axis Mutual Fund emerged as a key buyer in the deal, which acquired 96.15 lakh shares at Rs 154 per share worth Rs 148 crore. The identities of other buyers could not be immediately ascertained. The latest transaction comes less than a week after Actis sold a 0.86% stake in Pine Labs forRs 151.6 crorethrough a bulk deal. On June 19, the investor offloaded 98.28 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 154.25 apiece. With the latest transaction, Actis has sold Pine Labs shares worth more than Rs 522 crore over the past few trading sessions as it continues to reduce its stake in the company. Actis first invested in Pine Labs in 2018, when it led the $82 million round in the merchant commerce platform. As of March 2026, Actis held 4.48% stake in the firm. In Q4 FY26, Pine Labs reported a 17% year-on-year increase in revenue toRs 700.5 crore. The company also swung to a net profit of Rs 59.4 crore from a loss of Rs 28.9 crore in the same quarter last year. Shares of Pine Labs closed at Rs 161.25 apiece on the BSE on Wednesday, giving the company a market capitalization of around Rs 18,516 crore ($1.95 billion).
