IdeaForge’s revenue jumps over 5X to Rs 69 Cr in Q1 FY27; loss narrows 89%

Drone maker IdeaForge Technologies saw revenue balloon more than fivefold in Q1 FY27, while losses narrowed sharply. However, it slipped back into the red after a profitable March quarter, with revenue also falling sequentially. IdeaForge’s revenue from operations jumped to Rs 68.58 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 12.78 crore in Q1 FY26, registering a 436.6% YoY growth, according to financial statements filed with the National Stock Exchange (NSE).The company reported Rs 1.96 crore in other income, taking its total income to Rs 70.5 crore during the quarter, compared with Rs 16.7 crore in Q1 FY26. Cost of materials remained the company’s largest expense, jumping 7.15X to Rs 34.97 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 4.89 crore in the year-ago quarter. Employee benefit expenses increased 20.9% to Rs 15.1 crore from Rs 12.49 crore, while depreciation rose 44.9% to Rs 14.2 crore from Rs 9.8 crore. Meanwhile, finance costs jumped 5.49X to Rs 2.03 crore from Rs 0.37 crore, while other expenses increased 11.9% to Rs 16.2 crore from Rs 14.48 crore. Overall, IdeaForge’s total expenses rose 96.4% to Rs 82.5 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 42 crore in Q1 FY26. As a result, IdeaForge’s loss narrowed 89% to Rs 2.59 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 23.56 crore in Q1 FY26. On a sequential basis, the company’s operating revenue declined around 51% from Rs 141 crore in Q4 FY26. IdeaForge had reported a net profit of Rs 60 crore in Q4 FY26, before slipping back into the red in the June quarter. In June 2026, ideaForge Technology had raisedRs 500 crorethrough a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) by allotting 62.89 lakh shares at Rs 795 per share. IdeaForge’s shares were closed at Rs 902.10 apiece on Friday, taking the company’s market capitalisation to Rs 4,483 crore. Bareback Media has recently raised funding from a group of investors.
