Augusta TBO offloads 2% stake in TBO Tek for Rs 327 Cr

Augusta TBO (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., an early investor in travel distribution platform TBO Tek, has offloaded its 2% stake in the company through an open market transaction worth Rs 327.5 crore. According to its exchange filing, the investor sold 21.82 lakh equity shares, equivalent to 2.01% of TBO Tek's equity capital, on July 13. Based on TBO Tek's closing price on Monday of Rs 1,500.3 per share on the BSE, the transaction is estimated to be worth around Rs 327.5 crore. Prior to the sale, Augusta TBO held a 5.45% diluted stake in the travel tech firm. Following the transaction, its holding declined to 3.44%, or 37.35 lakh shares. The regulatory filing did not disclose the buyer. Founded in 2006, TBO Tek simplifies travel distribution for suppliers such as hotels, airlines, car rental firms, insurance providers, cruise lines, and railways, while enabling buyers to discover and book travel globally, offering inventory and booking solutions that facilitate seamless transactions across flights, hotels, and other travel services. In Q4 FY26, TBO Tekreportedan 82% year-on-year growth in operating revenue to Rs 814 crore, with a profit of Rs 60 crore during the quarter. At the end of Monday’s trading session, TBO Tek shares were closed at Rs 1500.3 on BSE, giving the company a market capitalization of Rs 16,291 crore.
