Purple Style Labs IPO: Full Shareholder Breakdown and Why Nobody Is Selling

· IPO & Markets · StartupTalky

When Purple Style Labs pulled its shareholder register on August 21, 2026, the BENPOS date behind its IPO filing, the list ran to thirteen names holding more than 1% of the company, led by founder Abhishek Agarwal's 26.09% stake. What stands out isn't who made that list. It's what none of them are doing: selling. Purple Style Labs' ₹680 crore IPO carries zero shares on offer for sale, so every one of those shareholders walks into listing day holding exactly what they hold today. That is unusual. Several recent consumer and D2C listings in India have paired a fresh issue with a sizeable OFS, letting early backers book a partial exit on day one. Purple Style Labs skipped that entirely. Every rupee raised in this IPO goes onto the company's own balance sheet, not into any shareholder's pocket. The table below comes straight from the RHP's capital structure section, based on the BENPOS dated August 21, 2026. Three names on that list are worth a second look: Group that table by category and you can see how concentrated the register really is, and how much of it Purple Style Labs simply doesn't itemise. That 6.79% gap isn't a disclosure hole. The RHP calculates these percentages on a fully diluted basis, meaning the denominator includes shares issuable on exercise of vested ESOP 2024 options, while the share counts in the table reflect only equity actually held as per the BENPOS. The gap approximates the dilutive effect of the outstanding option pool, which the RHP doesn't break out shareholder by shareholder. Here's the part that matters for you if you're weighing this IPO: nearly half the company sits inside a single "other public shareholders" line that carries no names in the main capital structure table. But a separate, fuller shareholder annexure in the RHP does name individual holders below 1%, and three of them are recognisable. Sachin Tendulkar holds 110,000 equity shares, or 0.15% of the pre-issue fully diluted capital, according to a full shareholder list annexed to the RHP, distinct from the top-10 table above. That figure is stated directly, share count and percentage both. Two other names turn up in a different annexure, the list of allottees under Purple Style Labs' August 2025 bonus issue, which gave existing shareholders 999 new shares for every 1 they already held: Those last two figures are our own calculation, not a number the RHP states outright, though the math is clean: both bonus allotments divide evenly by 999, which is what gives us confidence in the estimate. All three holdings, Tendulkar's, the Khan family trust's and Dixit Nene's, sit inside the 49.24% "other public shareholders" bucket in the main table, which is exactly why none of them showed up in our first pass through the RHP's top-10 disclosure. Every pre-issue shareholder's stock stays locked in to some degree after listing, under SEBI's ICDR framework. Using the RHP's indicative allotment date of on or about September 4, 2026, here's what that looks like on a calen
