Amagi’s profit zooms 8.5X in Q1 FY27; revenue rises to Rs 437 Cr

SaaS firm Amagi, which got listed on the stock exchanges earlier this year, reported a net profit of Rs 34 crore in Q1 FY27 while its operating revenue grew 32% during the same quarter. Amagi’s operating revenue grew to Rs 437 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 330 crore in Q1 FY26, according to its consolidated financial statements filed with the National Stock Exchange (NSE). Founded in 2008, Amagi operates a cloud-based advertising platform for connected TV (CTV) and programmatic advertising, enabling brands to run targeted campaigns across streaming platforms. The company generates most of its revenue from international markets, with the US as its key market. On a quarterly basis, the firm’s revenue increased by 10% from Rs 397 crore in Q4 FY26. The company earned Rs 18 crore in non-operating income during the quarter, taking its overall income to Rs 454 crore. While the financial statements did not provide a detailed expense breakup, employee benefits accounted for nearly half of the total expenses. Overall expenses increased 22% year-on-year to Rs 414 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 338 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Although the company’s revenue growth outpaced the rise in expenses, its profit after tax surged 8.5 times to Rs 34 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 4 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Sequentially, profit remained unchanged from the previous quarter. Amagidebutedon Indian stock exchanges at a 12% premium at Rs 317 per share. In less than six months since its listing, the stock has more than doubled. Currently, its shares are trading around Rs 679 as of 1:17 PM on Thursday, giving the company a market capitalisation of Rs 14,695 crore ($1.54 billion).
