Seven funding rounds closed on 30 July 2026, spanning agri-tech, food-tech, dairy, D2C beauty, drones, housing finance, and quick commerce. The day's largest deal was Arboreal Bioinnovations' ₹230 crore Series A, co-led by Edelweiss's EAAA and Omnivore, underscoring continued investor appetite for specialty food ingredients. Beyond funding, Swiggy reported a 34% YoY reduction in its Q1 FY27 net loss to ₹791 crore even as rival Rapido's zero-commission platform Ownly intensified pressure on the food delivery duopoly. Arboreal Bioinnovations is a Lucknow-based specialty food and nutraceutical ingredients company founded in May 2018 by Swati Pandey and Manish Chauhan. It serves more than 1,100 B2B customers across India, supplying next-generation proteins, sugar reduction solutions, cocoa ingredients, and nutraceutical actives to food, beverage, and consumer packaged goods brands. The company raised ₹230 crore (~$24 million) in a Series A round co-led by EAAA, the alternatives arm of Edelweiss, and Omnivore. Existing investor Rainmatter by Zerodha also participated in the round. Proceeds will be directed towards expanding manufacturing capacity, strengthening research and development, and accelerating commercialisation of its next generation of functional ingredients. Apna Mart is a Gurugram-based franchise-led omnichannel grocery and FMCG startup founded by Abhishek Singh and Chetan Garg. It operates a neighbourhood store-led quick commerce model focused on Tier II and Tier III cities, competing with Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, and Zepto. The company closed a ₹120 crore (~$12.7 million) Series C round co-led by existing investors Accel India and Fundamentum, with participation from Peak XV Partners. The round valued Apna Mart at approximately ₹1,470 crore, nearly double its previous valuation of ₹738 crore. This follows a ~$25 million Series B raised a little over a year ago. Fresh capital will strengthen working capital and support national expansion. Apna Mart's operating revenue grew 2.5x to ₹500 crore in FY26, though it did not disclose its bottom line for the year. Sid's Farm is a Hyderabad-based direct-to-consumer dairy brand founded in 2016 by Dr. Kishore Indukuri. Sid's Farm raised over ₹81 crore(~$8.4 million) in a pre-Series B round led by Omnivore, NSFO, Dodla Dairy, Next Bharat Ventures, and LIO, alongside a consortium of other investors. This builds on a $10 million Series A closed in June 2024, co-led by Omnivore and NSFO.
