Shadowfax Technologies reported a strong performance in Q1 FY27, with the logistics and last-mile delivery firm recording a 65% year-on-year growth in operating revenue. Its profit also surged more than eightfold to Rs 65 crore during the quarter. The company’s revenue from operations surged to Rs 1,358 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 824 crore in the same quarter last year, according to its financial statement sourced from NSE. Shadowfax operates in the last-mile and hyperlocal logistics segment, catering to ecommerce marketplaces, D2C brands, and quick commerce platforms. The company competes with Delhivery, XpressBees, Ecom Express, and Ekart in a highly competitive market. The company also recorded Rs 21 crore in other income, taking its total income to Rs 1,379 crore in Q1 FY27. On a sequential basis, total income grew 10% from Rs 1,253 crore reported in Q4 FY26. The company did not disclose a detailed expense breakup. Its employee benefit expenses rose 49% year-on-year to Rs 124 crore, while depreciation and amortisation costs increased 82% to Rs 40 crore. Overall, Shadowfax's total expenditure grew 60% year-on-year to Rs 1,314 crore during the quarter. Shadowfax Technologies' profit surged more than eightfold to Rs 65 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 8 crore in the year-ago quarter, as the company's revenue growth continued to outpace the increase in its expenses.
