Foodtech and quick commerce platform Swiggy has expanded the roles of three senior executives across its Instamart and Food Marketplace businesses. Himavant Kurnala has been appointed Chief Growth and Product Officer at Instamart, while Nitesh Garg has been named Chief Technology Officer at Instamart. Saurav Goyal has taken charge as Chief Operating Officer of the Food Marketplace. Kurnala has led Instamart’s product function since 2024 and later took on growth and brand marketing. In his expanded role, he will oversee Growth, Marketing, Analytics and Product. Garg has been with Swiggy for more than seven years and most recently served as Senior Vice President, leading engineering for Instamart and New Initiatives. He will now oversee technology for Instamart. Goyal joined Swiggy in 2020 and has held roles across Business Finance for Food and Instamart, as well as Driver and Delivery Product and Operations. As COO of the Food Marketplace, he will also oversee Food Customer Experience while continuing to lead Driver and Delivery. The appointments come amid a series of leadership changes at Instamart. Former Myntra CEO Nandita Sinha wasappointedCEO of Instamart effective August 3, succeeding Amitesh Jha, who resigned to pursue other opportunities. Sinha’s appointment followed the exits of other senior executives, including COO Ankit Jain and CBO Hari Kumar. Jain recently joined Nykaa to lead its quick commerce business, Nykaa Now. Earlier this year, Swapnil Bajpai was elevated to CEO of Swiggy’s Dineout and Scenes business. Sidharth Bhakoo continues as Chief Business Officer of the Food Marketplace, while Gautam Swaroop is the Chief Business Officer of Instamart.
