Beauty and fashion retailer Beauty and fashion retailer Nykaa has appointed former Instamart Chief Operating Officer Ankit Jain to lead Nykaa Now, its quick commerce business has appointed former Instamart Chief Operating Officer Ankit Jain to lead Nykaa Now, its quick commerce business, as the company expands its presence in the rapid delivery segment. Jain joins Nykaa weeks after exiting Swiggy owned Instamart, where he served as COO. His departure was part of a series of leadership changes at the quick commerce platform. He brings more than two decades of experience across supply chain, logistics and operations. Prior to Instamart, Jain held leadership roles at Flipkart and Unilever. At Nykaa, Jain will lead Nykaa Now, the company's quick commerce vertical, which delivers beauty and personal care products within 30 to 60 minutes. He will oversee expansion of the business, supply chain operations, fulfilment infrastructure and technology led logistics. Nykaa Now is currently available across 13 cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Kolkata, and offers products across beauty, personal care and wellness categories. As of June 30, Nykaa operated 324 offline stores across formats. The company has also been expanding its portfolio of owned brands, including Kay Beauty, Nykaa Cosmetics and Dot & Key.
